This weekend we were blessed with an abundance of fruit among which was lots of bananas. I still freeze bananas whole in their skins and, when it comes time to use them, I just run them under warm water for a moment or two until the skins slide off and viola'! Fresh, white, frozen banana ready for use in smoothies, banana-oat bran muffins, banana-nut bread, banana cake, or whatever...BUT...I just found this link on saving bananas in a different way from Molly over at Econobusters, so I thought I'd share.
