Recipe: SCOTTISH SHORTBREAD

As per request...



SCOTTISH SHORTBREAD

2 sticks butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients together by cutting together until crumbly. Pat into shortbread pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes. This is one of my favorites to serve with tea!

  1. I'm definitely going to try this - I've been looking for a good shortbread recipe. Imagine - a Scot getting a shortbread recipe from across the Pond!!
